help ! will the military ship my car to another state if our family gets there by

other means? how do i get my car to california from arkansas me and my daughter are flying to CA and i need info about getting my car there3?
 
The only time the military will ship your vehicle in a CONUS location is if you have 2 vehicles and it is cheaper to ship it than it is to pay MALT and Per Diem for you driving it there. If it is your only vehicle then the military will not pay for shipping you will have ot pay for it yourself.
 
The Military will not ship your car CONUS, meaning state to state (in the lower 48 states).

You have a couple options though:
1. Drive the car yourself and get some money for that (the Army pay so much for each mile you drive)

2. Have a Car Transport Company ship the car for you. This you will pay out of pocket and the Army will NOT reimburse you for.
 
no. the military will not ship POVs CONUS.. they will only pay for you to drive it from one PDS to the Other. and then only if authorized.
 
The military will NOT ship any vehilce CONUS. You can either drive it yourself or pay a transport company to move it and you pay for it out of pocket. The military will not pay for plane tickets either. They fully expect you to drive your own vehicle if you want to have it.

I know it's hard with a little one. i drove from Colorado to Florida with a 9 month old..no fun but sometimes you have to do what you have to do!
 
they will only ship conus if there is not enough time to drive there according to the soldiers report date or if its medically necessary.. they will NOT do it if you have 2 cars
