Help!! What's wrong with my fish?!?

I have had my panda and red moor for over 6 months now. There was a black moor as well, but he died about 7-8 weeks ago. For the past 3 weeks, all they've been doing is staying at the bottom of the tank, occasionally moving to another spot and back again. They swim up and eat their food when I feed them, but all the rest of the time, they stay at the bottom of the tank. Is there something wrong? or is it because they miss their friend?

it could be lack oxygen in the tank. also, if the pH level is off in the water that could be a cause too. i say take the tank and the fish to a pet shop and have them check out the temperature and pH level and go from there. you do have a filter to circulate carbon and oxygen in the tank though right? too much carbon cause cause the fish to suffocate.
