HELP.. what the difference between 1-20 farad cap. Kicker l7 alpine pdx.?

OK so i have a 10 farad tsunami cap and 2 kicker l7 and a alpine pdx 1.1 = 2000watts @ 2 ohm so should i have a different cap or is a 10 ok?? and what does the "farad" refer to?
 
i have a 10 farad cap in my car, and they r more for show than anything else........... if ur doin 2000 watts at 2 ohm i would not buy another cap, id upgrade to a yellow top battery, or what u really need is to get a HO alternator.
