You are an art historian who has just made a unique discovery of an unknown work of art by one of the artists we have studied in class from one of the following periods: Early Italian Renaissance, High Northern Renaissance, Dutch Baroque, Rococo, or Neoclassical. You will need to describe your work in detail and discuss a theory and/or theories for why it was created, for what it was used, who may have commissioned it, how it related to the historical, cultural and artistic culture in which it was created and any other pertinent information to explain the discovery.
