My boyfriend is the one actually doing this, but he is out there cursing so I am trying to help in the only way I know how. He has got all of the bolts (screws, whatever) off of the old one, except for 1. We can't get to that bolt because one of the pulleys is just slightly in the way so no tool will fit on it good enough to get a good grip. I know I am describing this not very well, but I hope I am clear enough. Does anyone have any suggestions or know a website that could offer some help? My mechanic can't do the car until sometime next week and, frankly, I can't afford to pay him. I had to borrow the money that we have spent so far on parts, etc. So, please, any help would be very much appreciated!

it is the power steering pump in the way, remove the pump and leave the lines attached. He will find hidden bolts behind the pulley that hold the pump on but he can spin the pulley and a socket will go right through the holes in the pulley to get the pump off, when the pump is off he can get to the last water pump bolt

ok look take the boyfriend out a beer. make him sit and relax a minute. run this by him.look at the bracket mounting the pulley in the way, how hard would it be to remove it and shove it to the side.if its the pulley im thinking of, its a power steering pump, or a belt tensioner, and both are easily removed provided you have a power steering pump puller. not sure if your is belt drive, or gear drive.
