Help Urgent!!!!!!!

I have a problem unlocking a HTC G1. I have buy the unlock code of this phone (HTC) G1, later I insert a non-accepted simcard, power on the phone, phone ask for pin sim, then I tape it, later the phone ask for unlock code, then I tape it, and everything ok, but phone ASk for google activation via gprs but my country network does not have GPRS sevrice.
HOW Can I bypass This INITIal SETUP (t-mobile edge)
I have read all manuals but they says that i must go to menu configuration wifi but in this phone I cant only show th activation.
please help me with that.
