I am buying a bike in Melbourne, in West Footscray, and need it transported to Thornbury - about 15km away. I cannot do this myself as I am interstate, and I have looked up courier companies and they charge by cubic weight, which means transporting a bicycle will cost me over $100!
Is there any other way to do this???
Please Help!!
Thanks.
Thanks for answering Ken M, but if you had read the question thoroughly you would see that I am interstate. Otherwise I would not have a problem. I could ride the bike, take it on the train, or even chuck it in my car. The bike needs to be picked up in the next week and I won't be in Melbourne for another month.
