Help! Tingling developed 19 days after surgery

I am new to this board but not new to the life of back pain. My original injury was 11 years ago, first surgery which was a l5-S1 fusion with two screws and one rod. My second surgery was on June 16th this surgery they removed the hardware previously placed due to one of the screws entering the spinal canal and aggravating the nerve. They also removed a mass that was encased in bone that had been sitting on some nerves for around 3 1/2 years. My question is this, today I woke up and I have a weird feeling in my legs. I wont call it nurabness, its closer to a tingling. Last night while at a frienRAB home I noticed some weakness in my right leg which has been present since surgery it was just a little more pronounced last night. So the issue is this, it is Sunday and a Holiday. The feeling is almost like a pressure and a tingle but not the tingle like you get when your leg falls asleep. It is really hard to describe. Would this warrant a call to the on call doc? or do I just try and wait it out till tuesday?
 
I have L5S1 problems too. I have permanent nurabness in my foot and left leg from nerve damage done by disc herniations. I would guess that bc you just had surgery and they invaded that area you may have some swelling of nerves and tissues that may be causing your issues. Are you on anti inflam meRAB? The symptoms sound like things I have when my L5s1 or sciatic nerve act up, or are pressured by discs. Does it happen after you have been up and walking,standing for awhile? If it puts your mind at ease call your dr on call and ask. Make sure you rest, ice back, and if you can take advil or aleve to help with the swelling/nerve. If it gets worse definitely call your doctor or go to the ER. You know your body best so listen and give yourself some rest, and follow up with your doctor when you feel it is best. Happy 4th.
