Help! T-Mo downloading problems!

Hi! I have a Pearl and T-Mobile. I had the DM and handheld software on one of my computers with Windows XP. We got a 2nd computer with Windows Vista and wanted to use this with my pearl since we were looking into giving the old one to a relative. Well, i am not able to load any of the software to the new computer from either my disk or from the websites. It will start to download and then all of a sudden stops. I also am not even able to upgrade the software on the old computer either. This isn't a one time issue either because i have been trying since the latest pearl updates came out. i have even tried closing my antivirus and firewalls, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any advice for me? It will be appreciated. Thank you!!!
 
Yeah. My PC stops downloading from the websites. It's frustrating! I have even left it for a few hours and then come back, but it remains where it was when i left it.
 
I assume i'm authorized because i am an administrator. Is there anything else i need to check?

By the way, thank you so much for trying to help.
 
Re-boot the pc and change the download directory to your desktop. Vista has issues and i'm not sure what is wrong. I need to surf additional areas to learn more.
 
I got a Pearl as a gift recently and I am trying to figure it all out. I was told this is the place to be to get great information. I have been trying to figure out downloading. I am on T-Mobile by the way. When ever i get an email with a link to download something like a song and i try to down load the attachment it doesnt work. How do i get it to work? This goes for the internet too. When I am on the internet on the phone I can not download anything. Why is this, and how to I make it so I can download?

Yeah I have the same problem and its starting to bug. If you get an answer let me know plz, and if I get something I will let you know.
