i purchased a majestic palm tree plant about 4 feet high,was in original 12 inch pot,started to get a little brown on ends of leaves,kept moderatly moist,repotted it in a large 5 gallon garden pot,kept all original soil surrounding the root base intact and made sure of not incorporating any foreign soil,or bugs or larvae,but it still kept on going down from there,after i thought it may be root bound,if they keep them in stores with only flouresant artificial lighting,and mine was kept in a room with minimal real sunlight,what could have been my problem????i have a green thumb,and great knowledge on plants indoor and out..
i love that type of plant,and want to try again,and have more of them but is there anything that will help me in the long term health and survival of this plant/tree,seeings i have lost two now...
