help. sports day trouble!!!!!!!!!!!!?

i have sprts day in less then 2 weeks and i have to do the 600m i cant run 600m i can run about 300m and i get really out of breath and i really dont want people to laugh at me what can i do?
 
extra 300 meters? That's not a lot, in 2 weeks you can practice and make that. Just go down the park and try and run as far as you can and each time you try, try and beat you last effort. Whilst you maybe out of breath, most of it will be mental. If you practice and know you can do it.... you'll do it. Practice, practice practice, it's only for 2 weeks.

Now get to it and show everyone what you made of. Good luck.
