Help so I don't go broke testing!?

My hubby is currently deployed to Afghanistan, he was home on leave from Sept 15th to Oct1st. I was supposed to start my period on the 27th of Sept. So far nothing..i have pinching and sore boobs but I know that can be in my mind. My hubby made me take 3 boxes of test before he got on a plane to go go back I told him it was too soon!

I still have varied symptoms but I don't want to get my hopes up or go broke testing. How much longer should I wait before I test again?

We've been trying for 3 years now with no luck so I really don't want to get to hoping, OH I did have a flu shot too while he was home and i'm not sure if that could be why I missed my period as well.

Any advice I would be thankful for.
I'd LOVE to get a blood test but the hospital here won't allow you to blood test until 4 weeks past your missed period now, used to be 2 weeks, govt cutbacks I guess.
 
If I'm not mistaking, sounds like you've already missed your period. If so, it's time to test. My sister-in-law did Invitro while her husband was in Afghanistan. She now has twins (boy and girl). Good luck to you!
 
oh hun.. I hope for the best for you... The earliest your going to get a result is 4 days before your missed period but after wasting so much money your better off waiting till the day off... Just have sex every day that hes down, twice a day if you can muster.. try charting ovulation and temperature that should help... start taking pre natals now, the best prep you can give to conceive is your body feeling like it can sustain life
