I just got a Bobby Flay™ 10 1/2-in. Cast-Iron Grill Pan and i am having problems with too much smoke when i cook. here is how i cook a chicken brest
1 set electric stove to 7 out of 10 and let grill pan warm up
2 butterfly and season breasts
3 put chicken on, 3min flip, 3 min flip, 1min flip, 1min off
4 let chicken rest, 5 min and eat
the chicken comes out so good. it tastes like restaurant chicken, but somewhere along that process my apt. gets smoked out and my smoke alarm goes off. i tried burgers once but had to leave the apt. due to so much smoke, but they did come out good. any help is appreciated
