HELP!!!! She ssays I cant go to the fair if i do bad on my test...And i Know i did

bad...(STORY BEHIND IT)? Okay I have been waiting ALL year to go to the fair and for block exams I had my science test today and I know i did horrible but its not my fault because I missed the days that they handed out the notes and I asked about them and everyone said i didnt so I practically already failed my science test and Mom said if i do bad I cant go. AND IVE TOLD HER EVERYTHING!!! Ive told her its not my fault, I tried my hardest, I didn't have the notes..Shes not beleiving any of it!!! She is even going to freaken call the school to see what my exact mark was!!!! She isnt supporting me at all and I HAVE to go to the fair! :(
What can I say to her!! Please help!!
 
if she's not listening to what you say that's not a great start, just sneak out and go to the fair anyway if she still says you can't go
 
Your teachers hand out notes? Like you don't take notes while the teacher's talking? If you didn't get the notes that were handed out, what did you study...? I think you have to understand your mom's purpose in making that rule (that you can't go to the fair if you do badly) to begin with - she wanted you to study and be prepared for the test. Obviously, you didn't listen to her. So now the only way you can go to the fair is if you convince her that you're responsible and that you'll do well on the next tests. I think the best plan is to avoid dwelling on your test scores (just take responsibility for them and let it go. This means stop saying that it's not your fault, even if you don't think it was, that makes you sound immature and it's not going to help your situation). Instead, make sure your mom knows that you learned what you did wrong and you can improve. Plus tell her that grades in middle school don't even matter, and it's better to make and learn from mistakes now than in high school when your grades actually count :)
