Hello guys

Need some advice…. I have two girls who (7 & 6) have refused to see there father for over a year now.
They have witnessed years of DV and the last time is when I had left ex husband and he came to my house and beat me up. He was charged with ABH and got a 18 month suspended sentence.

He is fighting for contact, a social services report has been done and in the report it says the girls on many occasions has said they never want to see him. They get very upset if you even mention his name the oldest will not even be call by his last name anymore.

She is under a child physiologist, and the child physiologist has told s/s that she should not see her father as this is causing long term damage.

Well we have a final hearing soon (ex husband wanted it on the grounds the social worker who did the report was young and not been in the job long) .

My ex has seen the child physiologist report (my solicitor sent him a copy)
He has seen the S/S report so he knows what the child’s wishes are. But he is still dragging all this out damaging the girls more.

Any advice what will happen in court?
What if I say no I’m not going to the hearing and canceling it on health grounds (when I get very bad stress I have a stroke have had 3 now and its linked to sever stress) what will happen.

Any advice at all would be welcome

What a horrible situation. I've got a similar thing but it's not gone to court yet. I'd say that if it has been decided that damage is being caused to your daughter by him there's no way the court would force contact.
I wish you all the best
