I have an iMac and a PowerBook, and a Palm TX. My PDA has been a Tungsten C, and I just bought a TX, as the Tungsten's screen was cracked and trashed. I tried to load the new software disk onto the iMac, but I'm having problems with that computer (it can't find a volume on which to write), in the meantime, I thought that I'd load the software onto my PowerBook, and then sync the PDA, and then import the info from the other computer. Doesn't seem to work; how should I approach this? I would like to import the info (calendar, addresses, etc.) from the iMac onto the PowerBook, and then sync it.
How should I proceed?
Thanks!!

I also use a TX with Macs but I don't understand your question. What do you mean that the iMac "can't find a volume on which to write"? You of course don't write to a CD. If you mean that the iMac can't find its own hard drive on which to write the data from the Palm CD then you would not be able to hotsync or do much of anything else until that problem is resolved.
