My husband is 30 y.o. and has had 3 different back surgeries. It all started with two herniated disks in his lower lurabar spine. The last two disks I believe in the spine. He had a microdiscectomy in April, a laminectomy in June, and then a hematoma was done in July due to fluid build up.

It is now Septeraber and after those three surgeries, he is now barely able to walk and has a difficult time supporting himself. One doctor put him on decadron for a few weeks and that seemed to help, but when he came off of it, his back would flare up with inflammation. The doctor put him on it again and then didn't know what to do so we went to another orthopedic surgeon. He is officially off the steroiRAB, but he is in pain all the time and it is especially worse when his back 'buckles'. The doctor has recently done a contrast MRI, but they said it didn't show any huge problems. There may be a little buldging in the two lowest discs and the lowest disc appears to be smashed in the MRI.

This is the second doctor that is at a loss about my husband's situation. He tries physical therapy but usually cannot do anything there really. He has had to use a walker to support himself and now he can't even get out of his chair without his back buckling or feeling like he can't support himself. If any of you have ideas as to what to do, I would love to hear them. The doctors say they are at a loss as to his pain and symptoms. Thank you!
