Hey everyone...I was wondering if anyone new a good body moisturizer for acne prone skin. My arms, back and chest are very dry but are prone to acne and blackheaRAB, and i cant find anything to moisturize without causing breakout. Thanks!!
look for moisturizers with non-comodegenic ingredients- i'm sure you search oils like that on google.
personally, i have acne prone skin too and i use two drops of jojoba oil with my facial moisturizer during the winter, when my skin is super dry. the chemical composition of jojoba oil is very similar to our skin's oil too.
Sometimes you can get acne from having dry skin- when your skin is dry, it compensates by overproducing oil, which can cause more clogged pores and acne. a while back i took a medication that made my skin dry and break out- the only thing that calmed down my skin in terms of reducing inflamed acne and soothing my dry skin was Cetaphil moisturizer. Cetaphil tenRAB to be on the greasy side, but if you use a little bit it moisturizes really well, especially on damp skin. I use half a dime sized amount on my entire face.
