Help please with writing about a Goth character?

A few of my minor characters are goth, they aren't completely goths, just as far as they wanted to go. I need help getting into the mind of a goth, my goths aren't the stereotypes, they are very social, they just prefer goth clothes and looks, with a little bit different view on life too. I want to write them correctly, so I don't defend anyone. The group of friends is a like a misfit group, everyone is different and that includes a few goths. The main character whose view you see the book from is not a goth though so it isn't inside their head, I just need to know what a goth would act like around other people. It can't be completely depressing either.
Thanks a bunch an please no negative comments or any comments that waste my time in any way, thanks!

Goths are very anti social with people they arnet very close with them. They try to veiw everything negitively. They try not to smile. They drift away from others.

I hope this helps

Well, you can make them act as if they don't care what other people think. They can be maybe a little more into politics or problems with the world than other people. They can act a little more removed from everybody else; not anti-social, just more removed.

I hope this helped.

Really just answer things from a pessamistic point of view with maybe a touch of death is the end so why not admit it and get over yerself sorts view.... then throw in a bit of cynical sarcasim and there ya go
