Help please needed for film title

hi all i really really need peoples help on this one as my mam wants a film for xmas and this is the info i have to go on

- was mentioned on the one show this week or last (possibly paul o grady)

- is an old film

Yeah i know knightmare or what my mam is really specific on what she wants

so this is a last ditch attempt in the hope that someone may have been watching these shows and have a clue what my nutter of a mother is talking about

It's a Wonderful Life has just been reissued in a pack with both the original monochrome and a new colourised version. Maybe the TV programme was about that?
