Hello there
Its been a while since I posted but briefly, I had a plif with hardware L4 L5 S1 two years ago last month. Most all is well except for sitting more than 30 minutes. Also standing but sitting is my biggest problem. My question is. Have any of you found a way to sit without pain on a long flight. I am flying to visit family and it will be approx a 5 hour flight. In Sept I flew to NY which was approx a 2 hour flight and about 1 hour in I was in pretty bad shape. I ended up standing at the back of the plane for the rest of the way due to the very very helpful flight crew. It might be useful to mention that I had taken a norco 10/325 just before boarding, and although it helped some, within an hour of sitting I was pretty much hopeless in pain. I have asked my pain DR for a prescription of valium for this trip and hope that if I take both a norco and valium I might be able to make it. My question is, have anyone with a similar issue with sitting following a lurabar fusion found any way or methoRAB or helpful products to sit more comfortably on a plane? Found a particular use of medications that help? I appreciate any advice you might have.
