Help, please! I'm new to the love business...?

Ok, I'm confused. This is sort of a long story but I need your help!

So, it starts with Chris. Sweet and caring outside of school (total ass in school). He tells me how much he loves me outside of school and online, but when I see him in school he treats me like ****. He also has some anger problems, which scares me. But he's so amazing outside of school and it IS summer vacation....

Ok, so now Dan. He's a total hick. He's got coal black hair and green eyes. He can be really funny and nice, but he's can be a jerk. When I'm around him I say and do stupid things, like I'm under a spell. I've known Chris since kindergarten, but I don't really know Dan.

Now it's summer and I won't see Dan until school starts up, but Chris lives in my town. Chris can make me nervous because I don't know he he'd ever hit me, but it's not like I'll see Dan. My heart needs someone to love. Advice?
 
first of all you heart never needs someone to love, so don't take pity upon yourself. suck it up.

if your not even going to see Dan until school there is no point to obsess over him during your relaxing summer vacation.

now it sounds like Chris has some real problems.

if you want to give it a chance then do it, do whatever your gut tells you too. if you think that he might hit you then don't do it, but if you think that he is loving, and will care for you then go for it. seriously. just do whatever your gut tells you too
