Last monday i ate something that got me sick, probably chicken. I ate it around 1 or 2 pm and i started to feel sick by 6. First it was nausea, then it came vomit for about 2 hours. Vomit stopped after 2 hours but that night i developed fever with chills. Tuesday the fever continued and i felt weak. Wednesday the fever had left but the diarrhea started (with cramps). It was just watery clear diarrhea. On thursday diarrhea continued but my energy level started to improve so i thought i was getting back to normal. But today friday, my diarrhea has turned tarry, does it mean it has blood in it? I'm so scared. i don't want to go to the doctor!

I dont think im getting dehydrated but i have certainly lost weight, i used to weight 158 pounds and now i weight 153. Any comments are welcome. Thank you.

Did anyone else eat the chicken and get sick or not? Dr. Oz just had a show on food poisoning so you might want to checkout his website, it probably has it on there, I think it was Wed or Thur it was on there.

so you definitely need to go get some antibiotics.

Thank you CJ. My father ate from the same bucket of chicken (it was re-heated) and he did not got sick. I blame the chicken but perhaps it was something else, i got sick right away, within hours.

hmmm...could have been where the piece was in the bucket, ya know? bottom, top, etc. If you have salmonella it won't go way w/o antibiotics, I think it comes and goes. Good luck. CJ

Try Extra Virgin Coconut Oil. Get it from your local health food store. Eat 2 tablespoon three times a day. Excellent antiviral, antibacterial properties. Will help kill most of the bacteria/viruses that caused your problem. Will speed up the healing process. 100% safe, less than $10. You have nothing to lose. Losing 5 lbs is normal if you have diarrhea. But if you have blood in your stool, it is a very different thing.

Good luck.

UPDATE:

Its saturday morning and i have been diarrhea free for the last 22 hours. I guess it is safe to say that the worse has passed. Thanks for the comments joehumps and no34evr.
