Help planting an indoor herb garden.?

I'm planting some herbs indoors. The plants i'm using are

Basil
Dill
Parsley
Rosemary
Sage
Aloe
Mint

My pots are 4-6 inches in diameter and 6 inches high, and each species gets it's own pot.

any suggestions on how many of each plant to start in each pot.

no specific advise, but you should be prepaired to have your door kicked in

one per pot unless you want to have to transfer them later because they will need more room. after they grow it will be a pain to move them because their roots will become entangled

I'd start with 3 and if they get very big you can transplant them.
