With all due respect, Taiwan is not THE China....and at least Samsung is not assembling their phones in China. It's the workmanship, or lack of, that I'm concern about. iPhone made in China -- that I didn't know.

It might not have. They usually ship from Industry City, California. Check your Purolator (most likely) tracking number to determine where the package originated from. Newegg.ca puts a Mississauga return shipping address on all of its packages but that is not necessarily where it was shipped from. I've received a couple packages from Newegg.ca last month, one coming from New Jersey, and one coming from California but both had that same Mississauga address listed as the sender on the shipping label.
