help on wii sports resort- golf.?

is anybody else having trouble playing a 2 player game on golf? it tends to hang up says"press b button when ready " but all it makes is a sound when pressing the b button.just have to just keep on pressing the b button and swinging the wii-mote around to get it to work. single player has no problems. any clues?
 
you might want to try looking at your remote settings and resetting your remotes by sitting them on a flat surface until they reconnect with the wii system.
