Help on changing my jeep?

I have a jeep compass 2007 and it comes with a cvt automatic transmission i would like to put in a manual transmission for it but don't know if its possible for one and where i could go for another and if all possible the cost of completing a project like this. Thank you for the help.
 
If you don't like the automatic, you should just trade your Compass in for one that has a manual transmission. Switching to a standard transmission would involve a lot of labor, and a ton of money in parts. Plus, it would void your warranty.
 
i dont think you can do that with out allso changeing the motor and computer. and the cost would not be worth it. you would be better off just trading for a manual
 
Yes it is possible but, If you traded this one in with the money it would take to get this done you would be rolling in a Brand New 2009 model Jeep with a manual trans in it. And maybe money left over. But that choice is yours.
