Four of the main speakers that are in my car put out 2-45 watts RMS (190 watts peak power). The other 2 speakers are in the dash and they put out 6-20 watts RMS (40 watts peak power). I also have a Sony Xplod CDX-GT330 as my stereo. Will i just need 4 channels on the amp. for the main 4 speakers that are in my car? Also, what kind of power does the amp. need to have? RMS power per channel?

I haven't understod anything, but my brother (who has understood) says you don't have to buy anything.

A decent 4 channel amp should work fine. You don't need an amplifier but if you decide to buy one it will make the speakers louder. Check out www.crutchfield.com for prices and recommendations.

A 4-channel amp thats no more than 20 watts RMS per channel @ 4 ohm would be fine. If you upgrade the speakers, you can get a bigger amp.
