Help on a debate!!!!!?

In school we have to make a debate of both sides of the subject here is the subject:
Students adopt the wearing armbands to show support against drunk Driving following the death of a classmate. The city has prohibited the wearing of armbands. Two students students were suspended from school until they returned without armbands.
Well if i was debating it what should i say? Including both sides.

The arm bands are no harm.

If they reply, they could have a bad influence.

You reply, Saving Lives and it is just a tribute. What is the problem here? (put them on the spot)
