Help! nice phone which can be used in Toronto?

I'm looking for a new phone

I like large flips like the n93 and the 903, but I want a new model.

I really like SHARP's latest offerings, but none of them can be used here.

which phones should I consider?
 
I definitely don't want a phone that is or will be sold by a Canadian or American carrier.

and, it should be reasonably high-tech

can any of these phones be used here?
