Hello,

So. I'm a 15 year old girl. My mother has Lupus, RA, APAS, Fibromyalgia etc. A couple years ago I was having a lot of pain so I was tested for Lupus. Everything came up normal. Then, about a year and a half ago, I started complaining again, and my ANA came up 1:1240 positive speckled pattern. Apparently my pattern was the same as my mum's, but my titer was a lot higher than her's. I was then sent to a rheumatologist who diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia. They put me on Soma, Cyrabalta, and Sevilla. I also have Trazodone if I'm having trouble sleeping.

Well, it's been almost two years and the pain is getting worse, not better. Not to mention that now my joints are starting to hurt. He says my joints aren't swollen so I don't have RA, but I feel like something's wrong. One doctor said that the positive ANA could just indicate I had the gene; but if that was the case, wouldn't that have shown up on the test done a couple years before? I don't know if it's Lupus, but what could it be? My symptoms are mostly comprised of muscle and joint pain, migraines (at least four a week; some last for months on end), fatigue, a lot of symptoms of IBS, and painful menstruation cycles. I also have a history of depression and PTSD.

If you respond, thank you so much. I just know something's wrong, but I'd like some advice before I go confront my doctor about it.

Thanks again.
