Help! My Ipod Touch 4g has been in recovery mode for hours!?

It's Jailbroken. i tried to update it but its been updating for a long time. I unplugged it then plugged it. it said that its in recover mode

Recovery mode is DFU mode. What happened is that your jailbreak is probably tethered and you just have to redo the jailbreak to start it up again. A tethered jailbreak means that when you restart the iPod, which it does after updating, it will go in to recovery mode until you jailbreak again. If you used redsn0w, open it then check the "just boot tethered". If you used something else, just redo it.

Mine did the same thing I bawled! Lol until it said I need to restore it so I did and although every thing erased I had it backed up and everything worked perfectly! Hope this helped!
