Ok, I own a fishtank with a filter and the works. The filter always works except for the fact my little sister poured a red bull energy tank in it. Before I knew it it was flooded with algae. I cleaned the filter. Washed the decorations and rocks and wiped the algae off the sides. I turned the filter back on and i still see the white mold/ algae or something floating in the tank. Will the filter get it or will I have to start over and what is the correct way to discard of it. No, I cant afford medicines or a tank sucker or algae eater. Sorry, i just want to clean it off.
My fish are in a seperate bowl until it's safe again. Please help.
