My 2 1/2 year old dog is acting really weird. He is usually REALLY active and "ready to go" in the mornings when I get up, but for the past year, about once every two months or so he has his "off" days. I can always tell he is having a day like that right when he wakes up. (He is a cockier spaniel/dachshund mix) My alarm goes off at 7:15/7:20 every morning for work and he has this routine of going to the bathroom and I usually feed him around 7:45 on the dot every morning. He then gets a snack/small meal around noon, then another meal around 5pm. He never has food left out for him unless its meal time but he always has plenty of water. Some mornings on his bad days, he comes over shaking and I have no idea why. I try to comfort him and it sort of helps. But sometimes his stomach growls really loud and I don't know if it scares him?? And sometimes he looks as though he will throw up, and right now he is sort of in this hunched "crab walking" stage because he wants to puke, but wont. Its like he cannot be comfortable. I really don't know what is happening and its only on SOME mornings. Not always. HELP
