ok, so she had a pleco..long story short he starved to death,even though i was doing what i was told by the pet store..after he died i asked and got responses telling me that they like veggies,etc.. sooo my dad went to the petstore to get my daughter another "cleaner" fish..he came home with a tri-colored-cat fish. i made it a rock den and put drift wood,etc in like the settings they have in the local creeks around here..but i do not know what they eat, if they are cleaners or what. all i know is from personal experience taking them off the hook sucks. i do not know if native cats are different than aquarium cats, what they eat or anything else. so all the help i can get would be greatly appreciated.
ok. i bought the HIkari algae wafers for cleaners. i need to know what else to feed the catfish. and for certain if he is a cleaner? he is not one of the sucking cat fish..he has a mouth in the front, whiskers, the whole nine yards..so def NOT the sucker fish i ok'd him to get..i said Corey cat or ocileffer..not "real" catfish. my dad heard Catfish..
