Oh my goodness, help, please.
My kids are big fans of the Food Network Channel. MISCREANTS. I have agreed to let them each choose one vegetable, one fruit, and one meat to purchase per week. We come home and google the nutritional value, and recipes for said foods. I think I may be learning something.
As this is a serious lifestyle change for me, I have some questions:
1) is there any way for me to bow out gracefully of this accursed arrangement that they *forced* me into?
2) is it a sign that I am an up-and-coming gourmet if my Husband is no longer smothering my home-made meals in salt, pepper, and/or gravy?
3) do you think that my children might love Bobby Flay, Alton Brown, Chef Keegan, and Rachel Ray more than they love me?
4) If I become a good cook, does that mean that I can no longer get away with bringing store-bought baked goods to social events?
5) did you see that?
It was my avatar winking at yours.
; ) .
I cooked POORLY for them until now, LOL!
Can I stress the point that I just felt like coming out to play today, and I appreciate those who haven't missed that point?????
