Maybe it's not your phone. It might be your Cell Phone Company. Call them and asked if their SMS network is down. They could be reseting it.

I bought a new samsung m540 today.. TODAY.
and i texted some of my friends telling them that i got my new cell and stuff. so i went on msn and asked them if they got my text, and they said no. so i sent it again. they still didnt get it.
so instead, i made them send me one.
i still didnt get it.
its from telus and i got pay and talk with 150 dollars on it, and unlimited texting. i already charged it for 5 hours and i tried taking the battery out and turning it off and on.
i dont know whats wrong.
please help me.

i will probably just go back to telus and ask them to activate it properly.

can i text if the connection bar is only one or two?

you need to troubleshoot the phone you need to text yourself first if that doesnt work call your phone provider also once you activated the phone you were suppose to live it only for 4 hours to learn more or how to please mesage, comment, email, send friend request at
