Help My Bold 9700 SMS Freezes!

Hey, im sure you guys have herd it all before as me and my girlfriend have the same phone and the same problem. Basically after so many messages or hitting the space bar twice locks up and freezes my messages so i cant click that thread again i have to delete it and re make it or pull the battery out, i have this phone a week and tbh its perthetic having to do that every like half an hour my software is 5.0.0.586 any way i can fix this ? my BB pin is 227648DE if you want to tell me through BB Thanks
