HELP! Missed period/negative pregnancy test.?

Okay, so I've been on birth control for two months now. The first month I was kinda irregular about taking them, I'd forget and take the bill about 4-6 hours later after I was supposed to take it, but towards the middle of the first month, I started taking them regularly ever since... got my period on the 3rd or 4th 'placebo' pill the first month and now I'm on the 3rd placebo pill of the 2nd month and still no period. (I am sexually active, but we use condoms.) I took a pregancy test the day I was supposed to have my period (friday). Came out negative. I took another pregnancy test (This time an EARLY one called 'First reponse.' It's supposed to be able to detect the hormone as early as 4 days before your missed period. ) took it on saturday and it came out negative. But still no period. Is this normal?? What's going on??

You may be just experiencing irregularities because of the way you may have started of by taking the pill.Make sure for future reference,to take it like clock work.Around the same time every day,for me it was first thing I took in the morning.If you take it whenever,missed some,etc.it may for certainty set your cycle off.If he used a condom and didn't break then you are not pregnant.Don't waste your time on HPT then because even if you were,there are not always accurate.It took me 5 weeks of being negative and a blood test too when I missed my period and got the symptoms to go along with it.You haven't mentioned any,so I wouldn't be worrying at this point.Just take it on time every day and have him cover up and you won't be expecting a baby.The pill alone,ain't full proof and taking RX drugs can interact the effects of the pill to increase the chance of getting pregnant.Good luck!!
