HELP!!! Military Holidays??!!! (EASY TEN POINTS!!!)?

I could write a five page essay about why i need this info, but instead ill just tell you what i need. I need you to list any holidays having to do with the military, ex: labor day, veterans day, etc. Also, for each holiday u come up with, say what exactly is celebrated on that day. thanx a lot!!!
what is exactly celebrated on labor day?
i already tried googleing it, but didnt get any info. also, please dont leave any rude or mean remarks.
 
Veterans day -- period. The rest are Federal holidays and while it could be argued that we can celebrate these holidays because of the freedom enjoyed because of the Military, they were passed into law by Congress not Generals
