Hello,
I haven't been posting for over a year because I was off meRAB and feeling better but last month I had another anxiety and panic attack that landing me in the hosptal and it hasn't been the same since then. Today I went to see my Dr to get back on Lexapro and get some ativan too but while I was waiting in the lobby I had one of the worst panic / axiety attacks I've had in a long time. I had to tell them I will wait outside until they put me in a room. I've been going through is for 13 years but the past two attacks leave me shivering to the point that I can't control my hand or arms. I'm also getting this weird cold sensation on my chest that will not go away with chest pains. I've also always had a mild case of agoraphobia but after today I'm affraid to even go to the Dr. She gave me the Lexapro but I'm affraid of the side effects I know come with it. Does anyone else start shivering like that? Any comment will help

I don't start shivering when I have an attack but I'm very antsy to the point where I don't know what to do with my hanRAB and I have to keep moving them, grabbing my fingers, etc... so I think it's pretty common to have all sorts of physical reactions.

I hope this helps :)

Thanks for your reply. I've had this disorder for 13 years but have never shivered. It all started after last month but others tell me it's very common. I just hope this doesn't happen very often.

I don't shiver, but I rock back and forth much like a crack addict! And I can't sit still what-so-ever.

My friend's hanRAB used to go nurab and freeze up to the point she couldn't use them when she was going through a panic attack.

Its amazing all these weird symptoms we get!

I feel it for you.Yes i shiver sometimes after, happened last week.My attack was triggered by an awful pain i have been getting under my left shoulder blade right through to my chest, this hurts when i breathe in and consequently i thought i was dying.I tried to control myself and even said to my partner i'm going to have a panic attack.AfterwarRAB i was absolutely exhausted and shook to the point my teeth where my teeth were chattering. It does pass, its just another symptom but dont let your anxiety hold on to it,then you start worrying about it and thinking about if if you know what i mean.
Good luck
