help me :(*

i am a 23 yr old female and ive had severe acne since i was 11yrs old, and it only seems to get worse with age. at 11 it was on my face chest and back. It cleared for about six mnths when i was 19 or 20 and came back now it covers my face neck chest arms and my legs!! what is going on?? is this a disease or something? i cant get past this and im suffering socially in relationships because of it, i can not take it anymore, this causes bad depression.....HELP ME!!

So sorry you are having to deal with this to such an extent. What products have you tried? Have you been to a dermatologist? That may need to be your first course of action if you haven't. I really don't suffer from acne, but I have a daughter who has bouts with it on her face, back, etc. She does use the Proactiv line and it has really helped her. I know not every product will work for everyone, but this has been her gold.
Others, as well as myself, seem to think Omega3 can be helpful. For the low price, and many extra benefits, it's sure worth a try! And remeraber; you are not the only dealing with this, but I am sorry for the way it makes you feel.
Hope someone can respond with an idea.
 
If you have any form of cystic acne, that is, acne that seems to start well under the skin and may or may not break through completely, you will need some type of oral medication to control it. Otherwise, with topical treatments, you end up putting drying products on dry skin with pimples still coming up from under the surface. It is miserable. I have been there. I finally found that the best solution for me was Accutane, however, if you have never tried an oral antibiotic this neeRAB to be your first course of action. You MUST work with a decent dermotologist on this.
 
yea i had a derm at one point they gave me antiboitics they didnt work though and i used rentolA and benzoyl peroxide and it wasnt very helpful i have like acne vugarus and cystic acne it totally sucks the bad part is i cant use accutane because i have mitro valve prolapse so...thats outta the question i was more hoping for herbal remidies maybe i do appreciate all the feedback eveyone thank you
 
Lauren , Have you tried the Serious Skin Care Dry Lo ?
Serious Skin care also carries a glycolic cleanser i keep in the shower.
This is the only Line that has vanished my acne, i rarely have to use the Serious Skin Care Dry Lo anymore cause it has cleared me that well.

I understand how acne can interfer socially. Hope this helps you like it has for me with the acne.

I know how you feel. I'm 26 with serious acne, although I have a soon to be wife that already loves. It still sucks trying to meet clients with acne issues. I have tried everything, from accutane to all meRAB from the doctor's offices and nothing seems to work. As powerful as accutane is it didn't work for me at least. I have resort to conclusion for me and I'm working on it everyday, or trying to. Control your stress levels. Try it and good luck.
 
i have never heard of it ive tried just about everything out there proactive which made it worse, murad, everything by clerasil, benzoyl peroxide, retinal,which were from a dermatoligist, even antibiotics all olay products basically anything you can by at a drug store ive tried it, even herbal (natural) products i have spent thousanRAB of dollars and have seen no difference where can i find this skin care dry lo?? and is it expensive?

Everyone with acne should give up all dairy products especially milk. Acne should clear up in a few weeks. In the meantime go to your health food store and buy some Oregano Oil and dab a bit on each spot.
