i heard this a while ago, i think i remember it:
A man walks into a bar and asks for a glass of water, the bartender takes out a gun and points it at him. why?
i want to know why he does this

Because the guy who went into the bar is a spy, and he thinks that the bartender is his ally. Asking for a glass of water is code for finding the secret blueprints (water - blue), but the bartender actually works for the evil criminal mastermind, and so the bartender realizes that the man who asked for the glass of water is a spy and THEREFORE must be killed. With a gun. (Sadly, everyone else in the bar who asked for a glass of water was also killed, and the bartender is now storing their bodies in the deep freeze in the back. The FBI is investigating).

the man that walked into the bar asked for a glass of water cause he had the hiccups. the bartender, in an attempt to scare away the hiccups pulled the gun on the man who asked for the water. the man who asked for the water's hiccups then went away, so he thanked the bartender and walked out of the bar.
