My bike is a 7 speed Trek 200 mountain bike with Shimano gearing. Every time I really step it up and pedal hard the chain slips, it never comes off though. Also, what is the best way to lubricate the chain?
Take the bike to a shop and ask for a quick gear service or gear tune. Get them to recommend a chain lube to you. You'll have to clean the chain before putting it on.
