Plz help me , i am new user for android os
I bought used g1 and format it with alt+s method
But it start after that with german language
So i try to download english lang but i cant coz i am in syria and cant
Open the market
So i try to root , and download dreaimg.nph and put it in sd and reboot on
Bootloader but it didnt complete and say not allow
I try to use flash recovery but didnt work to
Every update i tried say updating abort
I tried to use terminal emulate but when i wrote su
It says permission denied

About build no it is drc93
Plz just tell me what can i do step by step becuz i told u that i am new on this
 
Ok... not even sure you can use your phone in its current state, but if you can, have you tried menu > setting > locale and text > select local > English?
 
Yes i try
There is no language except dutch
And i cannt install new language because i am in syria and
We dont have market service
And there is no way to use proxy for the market
 
You can't download languages for Android off the Market, they come with the firmware that's installed on it.

Someone needs to establish what firmware he needs (one with a language he understands, custom or standard) and explain how to install it (i.e. rooting your phone).
 
Ok lets start from the beginning
to rood g1 uk rc93
Download the dreaimg and run the
Bootloader
But lt say not allowed
What should I do?
 
Choose Dutch as Language:
Instellingen-Settings
over telefoon-About Phone

Now look for:
firmwareversie - Firmware Version... What does it say?
