...school athletes... Please help!? I need to write a speech about 3 contentions (major points) as to why mandatory drug testing should be used for high school athletes. Also why is it such a good idea?
 
High school athletes frequently experience high stress from family, friends, and colleges that expect them to perform at their best. They're also young and apt to make bad decisions, such as taking drugs to enhance performance (but ruin their health).

1. Adult pressure on young adults leads to bad decisions that the school needs to counterattack.

2. This is a growing problem and the school owes it to the students to provide a catch for such things.

3. Use at a young age can lead to permanent damage.
