Help me with designing a website with Adobe Flash!?

Hey this is my first time using Adobe Flash to design an Index page of a website.

My question is: What should the page pixel be? I currently have it set at 1000 pixels wide + 620 pixels height. What will the result be like? Is it going to be too long? too big? or is it okay? I need help now!
 
Hey go and download the adobe flex project this is good for designing your own websites it has even the tutorials for doing so go and check the site
 
I usually use 900-1000px wide and about 800px height.

It really depends on how much content is being displayed. Take up just enough space in the .swf file to wrap around your content. Then the rest of the page surrounding the main content would be html.
