Im trying to observe Jupiter, but im not sure about the RA/DE stuff in astronomy, i have recently setup 42 as latitude on my telescope for Toronto, i have downloaded a program called Stellarium to help me know the times/locations of stars/planets/moons.
In the program, when i select to follow jupiter i get some information on it:
Magnitude: -2.42
Absolute Magnitude: 26.13
RA/DE (J2000): 21h39m3.1s/-15° 11'04.0"
RA/DE (of date): 21h39m35s/-15° 8'27"
Hour angle/DE: 16h37m56s/-15° 8'27"
Az/Alt: +87°10'50"/-25° 9'20"
Distance: 4.028AU
Apparent diameter: +0° 0'48.9"

Basically i want to know about all of that up there, dont explain about magnitude cause i know what it is. I also want to know how to track down jupiter using that data up there.

Thanks alot.
I was just using jupiter as an example.
