Hey there
So I'm a sixteen year old girl, and I'm trying to get in better shape.
I"m already relatively thing, but I have a little more fat on my tummy and sides than I'd like to.
I am taking an aerobics class at my school right now, and it's hard work, it's getting me into shape.
However, we work mostly our arms and legs. Almost never our cores.
So, I try to come home every day and run a few times around my block, and do some crunches. But there are very minimal results, especially on my lower abs. I know that in some cases, you can build up pretty decent muscles under a layer of fat, but then the fat needs to be rid of, and that's not happening for me.
Also, my aerobics teacher said that having a nice body (abs, etc.) is about 20 percent exercise and 80 percent nutrition. So I've been trying to eat better, but haven't really seen results. When I was younger, the weight just used to fall off, but now I'm having a little harder time.
So what I'm asking for is:
A) Nutrition tips that will help me trim fat and build muscle
B) An exercise routine aimed at cutting fat and strengthening my abs (especially my lower abs- I hate that stomach pooch around my belly button)
Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much!!
