It was a book I only just yesterday thought about, but I definitely remember reading it back in Middle School. It was something along the lines of a group of people being amidst a wave of zombie-like people (i'm horrible at descriptions, I know, bare with me). I believe it had a lot to do with radio or technology of some sort. Anyway, I remember at one point in the book an old man drove a pen through his eye after writing a suicide note. That's the part I remember the most. I'd really appreciate if someone could help me jog my memory.
